A Trip through Jewish Heritage - A 3 Day Journey

With only three days to work with I will do my best to max out our time together and hit up all the ‘must see’ sites. We will dedicated one whole day to Jerusalem, the holy historical capital, another day we will spend in Tel Aviv-Jaffa; the modern city that sits on the Mediteranean coast and on the third day we will travel to the desert, Masada and the incredible Dead Sea in order to enjoy the panoramic ancient views from the lowest place on earth. We will dip in the mineral waters and learn about the fascinating history of the area. Alternatively, we can visit the Judean plain and watch the stories of the Bible come alive before our eyes. Following these stories we will continue to the Ayalon Institue which tells an incredible story about the establishment of the State of Israel.

A 7 Day Journey through the Jewish Land

Now we can start to breath a bit more as we enjoy a full week of history, culture and Israeli geography. In the framework of this trip we will explore both city and suburb, see the modern Israel and go in depth to excavate and uncover Israel’s ancient past. We will venture to the Northern Galilee, with its rolling green hills and go to the lowest place on earth, the Dead Sea which is surrounded by desert and aridity. In addition to visiting the unforgettable holy city of Jerusalem, we will relive the stories of the Bible in the Judean plains, get excited by the Jewish revolt as they fought the Romans on Masada and understand the layered meaning behind Kabalah in the mystical city of Tsfat. The geopolitical status of where Israel is situated will be explained in depth as we stand on the peaks of the Golan Heights, almost touching our neighbors - Syria.

A 10 Day Journey through the Jewish Land

A ten day (or more) journey through Israel gives you the opportunity to delve deep into the areas and subjects that interest you rather than hop around from place to place. I recommend we explore for at least two days in Jerusalem as it gives you the opportunity to include the new side of the city as well as one of it’s museums. In the north, it’s recommended to stay an additional day so you can truly enjoy the expansive views against the dramatic backdrop of the Lebanon border. This gives you time to enjoy a more relaxing day where you can include some fun and extreme sports. For this trip, we used the 7 day journey as a base and ramped it up.
